The inaugural show for Gallery Blue door highlights the art of Scott Philip Goergens over the last decade.
Goergens creates a highly imaginable world where macabre and whimsical plants and creatures, live among us. His creations are inspired by horror, the occult, science fiction, children’s literature, and fantasy and highlight a piece of a story that stands on its own, but often allows the viewer to create the rest of the story. Their own beginning, middle, or end. This exhibit includes watercolors of his "Baltimore Monsters" as well as watercolors of his Cryptobotanical creations. Also included are a highlight of his work with acrylic and oil paint. His hand-painted ornaments and children's story "You Are Now Leaving Torporville" will also be available.
